Sense & Sensibility 2008 Episode 1 On YouTube!
Happy New Year! I have been enjoying the sun and surf and haven't been near my laptop for too long - so I'm majorly behind with the Sense & Sensibility '08 news; oops! The first two episodes have screened in the UK, to mixed reviews (which I will post shortly). This post is for our dear International BJF viewers (but get in quick, because I don't think the clips will be on YouTube for long). A very big thank you to tanixmuller for uploading the entire Sense & Sensibility Episode One!
Enjoy!

Oh thank you! I hope it still up when I get home! :) Can't see it at work since our computers completely suck!
/ bye from Maria in Sweden
what in th world is the first scene about? thanks for the upload!!!
Oh I loved it! ;) I am not that impressed by Brandon or Willoughby as of yet, probably since I am partial to the old version (Alan Rickman and Greg Wise). But Edward, oh so handsome! Very much like Hugh Grant, but more dashing! ;) Cannot wait till the next eppie! Hope she continues to upload them!
Mimi--> the first scene is a "new" scene of what happened to Brandon's love-interest's daughter.

ah, it was bugging me all day. Now I feel dumb because I "knew" that. Thanks Maria.
I am INCANDESCENTLY HAPPY to be the first to tell you that our love has been rewarded: ‘Becoming Jane’ won the People’s Choice Award for independent movie
:-))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
…and for our happiness to be completed, the acceptance speech has been delivered by James McAvoy, dashing as ever and with the same bewitching smile.
Mariana, again THANKS a lot for the news! And why oh why only James was there? Not Anne as well?
Oh well, at least I get to see his Tom Lefroy dashing smile... Oooohh... to think that I have dozens of things to do and I am lured back to the Jane/Tom side... ooohh...
I am psyched to inform you all that Eppie 2 S&S is up at youtube! *bouncing* check it out here http://youtube.com/watch?v=KU4MwkanQZU
who better than James McAvoy to give speech. His accent it a work of art. ;) YAY!
Oh, okay, I've finally seen part 3 and 7 of episode 1 (juuust to see Ed Ferrars and Willoughby). My first impressions:
1. Love the cinematography, and also the intro. Rather un-traditional for a costume drama series, but hey, it blended well!
2. LOVE Dan Stevens' Edward Ferrars! Simply love him! He's different of course from Hugh Grant's - and I also love Grant's Edward - but in a very delightful way!
3. Cooper is cute, but I still much prefer Greg Wise's Willoughby (and Winslet's Marianne, for that matter). But it's too early a day to give an A or B to this adaptation, and am willing to wait.
no good,
all the films have been removed...
some new links please???
