I recently ran across this item about the Jane and Tom "affair" and I hope I haven't posted it before. So here goes.
On
the Pemberley website there is a page about Tom and Jane. It
covers the letters written by Jane and her family, books written about
Jane, and the memoir by her brother. It covers a lot and presents a
very good case for what "may have been" or not.
